Painted Floors Update

One of my most popular posts is the one I wrote about painting my hardwood floors.  If you missed it or need a refresher you can read about it here.  I receive an average of about two e-mails a week asking questions about my floors so I thought I would post an update.

First I want to make something very clear - I AM NO EXPERT!!  This is something I did for my personal home.  I only share what I did and what worked for me.  I certainly make no guarantees that the same thing will work for you!  My floors were prefinished hardwood and they were in very bad shape.  They needed to either be replaced or sanded and refinished so I really had nothing to lose.

With that being said, its been about a year and a half and our floors still look great and we still LOVE them!  In fact everyone who sees them loves them!  Here are some more recent photos of them.  They were taken at Christmas (sorry, I'm too lazy to take more as that would require cleaning of some sort).
